My OSCAR winners prediction- who will be the winners

Already one month has been passed in 2010...time is so fast !!!!!! now..it's the time for Oscars and already nominations are out... of course...everybody knows "AVATAR" is the lead and it is the year of AVATAR ... Hollywood has seen a new wonder through avatar. It bagged 9 nominations for academy awards. And the tough competition it is facing from "Hurt locker", which is directed by Kathryn Bigelow, ex wife of James Cameron. Lets guess the awards winners ....

Best picture:

My prediction: AVATAR

The cinematic experience was changed completely after AVATAR gets released. With huge graphics, and mesmerizing special effects AVATAR is a best choice for best film. I think it mainly faces competition from "THE HURT LOCKER". With the effort and hard work, the film AVATAR was made and as it made a huge impact on film making , AVATAR definitely deserves the best film.

Best Director

My prediction: Kathryn Bigelow of "THE HURT LOCKER"

Oscar for best director usually goes to films with non-fiction story and realistic film. As "THE HURT LOCKER" is an Iraq based war film and a realistic action drama , I guess, director Kathryn Bigelow has more chances than James Cameron. And also, she bagged prestigious Director's guild award , which is a step to achieve Oscar. So, my guess will be Kathryn Bigelow.

Best actor in a leading role

My guess: Jeff bridges for CRAZY HEART (or) Jeremy Renner for THE HURT LOCKER

Best actress in a leading role

definitely : Sandra Bullock for THE BLIND SIDE

Best Actor in a supporting role

My guess: christopher waltz in inglorious basterds

Best actress in supporting role

My guess: Moniq for precious: based on the novel push by saphire

Best animated feature film

My guess: UP

Best art direction

My guess: AVATAR

Best cinematography

My guess: AVATAR

Best film editing

My guess: THE HURT LOCKER

Best visual effects

My guess: AVATAR

Best writing ( adapted screenplay)

My guess: UP IN THE AIR

Best writing (original screenplay)

My guess: INGLORIOUS BASTERDS

these are my guesses for the Oscars..remaining departments i don't have much knowledge so i can't presume...Lets wait till March 7th, 2010 for official winners.
