CINEMA , the word has some magic!!! especially for our telugu people, cinema has become a part of our lives. We are so much fascinated about films that the actors and actresses are like demigods to us. We worship them, we love them and we keep them in our hearts. Why we are that much fascinated about films? may be because, when we enter theater and start watching movie, it will take us into new world. We always fascinate about the things which we can't do in normal real lives like fighting 10-15 people single handedly or dancing and singing in the rain !!!!. Also, we get lot of tensions in our daily lives in many ways and we need some gateway through which we can relax.....thats what our cinemas provides.....relaxation and happiness.

But in olden days, the scenario was different. During kings times and Britishers times, we have "Burrakatha" and "Harikatha". Then, "Natakalu" started , which are pillars to now so called veterans of Telugu film industry like sri NTR, ANR, SVR, Jaggayya etc.My grandfather used to say , people used to see natakalollu as differently, and used to call them Bhogamollu. And , when films were started releasing in Andra, there were very few shows and very few audiences. according to my grandfather childhood days, going to movie was treated as a big crime and sin. cinemaki vellina vadini edo tappu chesina vadini chusinattu chuse varu anta....funny isn't it?

After NTR and ANR , films got somuch recognition and got to wider audiences. Nowadays, everybody knows, how film is made? what is shooting etc..etc. but, in the begining people were not aware of anything.especially, villagers. My grandma said one funny story... they once went to a movie starred ANR, Savitri and gummadi . While watching the movie, some one shouted from nela class seeing gummadi " hey..this guy died in the previous film, how come he is in this film?"......

From that igronance period to now, there was lot of efforts of great people in developing movies. Now, movies are made with high technical values and with digital technichnology. If you see color MAYA BAZAR , which was made brilliantly into color format , the technology has no boundaries.
We hope still more technical wonders will come in tollywood and entertain us!!!!!!!
